Wedding venue lighting supplied us with fairy lights and the light up love heart we left it very last minute to confirm timings with them as we decided we wanted the props to arrive during the meal so it would transfer the room from day to night. We used this company for our wedding lighting to put fairy lights around the room and it really made all the difference! They were so accommodating and came bright and early as requested the day before the wedding, yet only charged for a single days use- which is amazing when some companies up the prices for weddings. They also let us attach some greenery to the white pole covers which was really good of them too! Thankyou for making our venue looks so good!

From viewing their stock on the web-site, which was very easy to navigate and choosing the items required, Wedding Venue Lighting responded promptly to my request for a quotation regarding price. The paper work was in "plain English" and straight forward to understand. All e-mails were answered quickly and efficiently and they have been professional throughout. Matt worked extremely hard to create the beautiful setting for my daughter's wedding. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Wedding Venue lighting were very professional, discreet in their set up and really added to our decor of the day. The photo booth was a huge hit and guests loved the props and how easy it was to use, and the fact they could take prints away. Copies were added to a guest book which was a lovely extra for us to keep for memories. I can't praise this company enough! We were very last minute and only contacted them 5 weeks before the big day. Matt went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed (despite the lead time). I contacted them 2 days before for a Selfie Mirror and, again, they were brilliant! The team spent the evening with us and really got involved......our family and friends all commented on the room, the decorations and the friendliness of the staff. Highly recommended!

My daughter found this compnay whilst looking for a dancefloor for our wedding venue with no dancefloor! The price was good adn the dancefloor was good quality. They were brilliant at arranging with the venue time for fitting and dismantling, without us having to be there. I also booked at very short notice, and they were able to sort everythng out. A few days before the wedding we added a light curtain too and this just topped it off - it was stunning. Highly recommend this company - support small businesses when you can - they go the extra mile.

The set up was quick and efficient the day before our wedding; allowing us to decorate our venue without disruption. We recently used Wedding Venue Lighting for our wedding at Sandburn Hall. We used them for our ceiling decor, lighting, neon sign and Photo Booth!
From the minuite we booked them their service and communication was second to none. They really are brilliant and work so hard. The grand hall really did look amazing! We got married at Sandburn Hall and Wedding Venue lighting supplied the fairy lights for the main stairway, around the wooden beams along with the coloured lanterns in the Grand Hall were we got married and had our reception and the outside balcony and it all looked absolutely amazing 😁 Thank you so much to the team for adding these finishing touches to our wedding it felt and looked so special 😊

Matt and his team are the most professional company I have dealt with while organising my wedding. His suggestions and advice were spot on! The dance floor and backdrop plus the up lighters in my venue made the room look beyond amazing, every guest said it was the best wedding they have been to and the dance floor was full all night. Matt even came to collect it at 2 am in the morning so the venue could be ready for 8am the next day to start setting up for lunch.

Didn't have to worry about a thing!! Had an amazing g photo booth, back drop, and audio book! Definitely recommend. We got a photo guest book with the photo booth which was a really nice touch! We had so many prints!! All the photos taken and the audio book were posted to us on a personalised USB stick and was recieved a week after the wedding. Brilliant company.

Thoroughly professional job all the way through.
When I got there on the day, they had already been and gone, and done a great job.
Incredibly they were there at 1am after the disco shut down, to start taking them down.

They liaised with the venue directly which the venue really appreciated and it relieved my family of the worry of organising the deliveries and timings on the actual wedding day.

We had Matt and the team create the perfect lights for our village hall wedding. We chose the curtain lights and the fairy lights to hang from the ceiling as we had seen they had done something similar in the same location.
They were great from start to finish and reliable at arriving on time and setting them up as well as tidying them away the day after the wedding. They looked wonderful and really helped create the aesthetic we were looking for, for our special day!

Yorkshire venue lighting supplied my fairy lights and lanterns hanging from the beams at sandburnhall hall. It looked truly magical. They were quick at replying throughout th booking. Our wedding took place on Valentines Day and we had the letters M&M which set off the reception room which became the dance floor perfectly. All our guests were commenting on them. The were bigger than I had expected and were a perfect focal point and finishing touch. I’m so glad I found this company who were great value, professional and efficient from beginning to end. We had the fairy light curtain to go in our barn theme wedding. It looked beautiful during the day and especially at night. It lit up the dancefloor and I am so glad we hired it. Matt was very helpful in changing our order when needed and had some useful suggestions for us. The finished product was beyond our expectations and really wowed our guests. They ended up creating a canopy of lanterns over the alter which really enhanced the look of the venue and made the ceremony area stand out. We used WVL for our wedding day at Denton Hall in Ilkley, Yorkshire in September 2016. They provided an excellent service both in quality of dance floor and uplighters provided along with the delivery and installation service, delivered ontime and installed in good time to suprise all our guests following the wedding breakfast. Our lighting provided by “wedding venue lighting” created the perfect decor for our venue from ceromny to the end of the last dance. The venue looked beautiful with these lights, very happy. Easy to book and great communication from the company. We had the wedding venue lighting add some festoon lights into our venue which were absolutely perfect for our special day. We requested some outside festoons but the venue had already installed these so wedding venue lighting refunded us the amount quickly and without question. Matt and his team were very professional from start to finish, from the first phone call, e-mail, meeting us to discuss our requirements, even adjusted things to our taste to actually suggest us to delete a few products which saved us some pennies for our honeymoon. Not a lot of businesses want to do that! Our room was absolutely stunning, all our guests were amazed on how good our room looked even the Banqueting team at the hotel were speechless as were our toastmaster (he had seen the room before!) which was funny to witness! It was stunning, things were changed after our wedding breakfast and this was done discreetly and professionally, cannot thank the team enough, they did a marvellous job and I have the memories and photos to prove what an excellent day we both had :-) Winners, thanks guys!!

Amazing service. We had to change our wedding plans with 3 weeks to go due to the floods in York. Our previous venue didnt require lighting whereas the new one did. we knew we wanted fairy lights as it sets off the already beautiful room so well the lanterns finished off the look and wedding venue lighting were so helpful and quick at booking it all for us, they were confident with the venue and everything was put up and taken away without us even knowing. all our paperwork was posted to us which was great and if I had any questions they responded straight away, thank you for our perfect day everyone loved the decorations!!!

Wedding Venue Lighting set up a fairy light wall curtain behind the top table of our wedding at Crayke Manor in the covered stables. It looked superb and we received lots of compliments from many of our guests. Throughout the process the company were very easy to correspond with via email and phone. They were very understanding and flexible with our multiple covid date changes. The technician set up the day before and was very prompt, thorough and quick giving a clear explanation of how to work the curtain. He returned the day after to remove it and was equally professional. The whole experience was very easy, highly recommend

Communication was very easy and the website was easy to navigate and to see what was available & for how much. First phonecall resulted in ensuring Matt knew exactly what we needed and it was all very easy. Emails exchanged to confirm order, easy payment options including bank transfer. The best part of the lighting was the dance floor. We were given the choice of black or white and we chose black which made the floor stand out more. The string lighting outside was perfect, although with it being a winter wedding, not many people went outside, only the smokers, and there weren't many!

My daughter found this compnay whilst looking for a dancefloor for our wedding venue with no dancefloor! The price was good adn the dancefloor was good quality. They were brilliant at arranging with the venue time for fitting and dismantling, without us having to be there. I also booked at very short notice, and they were able to sort everythng out. A few days before the wedding we added a light curtain too and this just topped it off - it was stunning. Highly recommend this company - support small businesses when you can - they go the extra mile.

Quick and easy communication. Website shows my wedding venue with all various lighting and decoration options that the company can create with honest pricing shown. We got married at Sandburn Hall in York and chose to have the fairy lights around the beams, a curtain of fairy lights at the back, a secure post box with key, and festoon lighting for the balcony outside. All was set up well before the time for our guests arriving at 11.00am. They are a recommended supplier of Sandburn Hall, and the room wouldn’t have been complete without their detailing.

Matt and the team were extremely helpful, having approached him with my vision rather than asking for exacts he took what I was asking for and created exactly what I was hoping for on the day. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They suggested the Mr & Mrs lights. I then looked on their website at these and they were perfect. They lit the whole room and made it look even more beautiful. All of our guests commented how nice they were. Matt and his team kept in touch with me from the day I booked

We used Matt & the team for our wedding in June we had the fairy lights and fairy light backdrop it changed the whole look of the venue to the next level and added that extra wow factor. Communication was very easy and straightforward and no stress whatsoever and all at a very reasonable price too! I will 100% recommend this company.

Hired a black & white dancefloor with colour changing LED cube seats and a disco system, including lights. The service recieved was excellent, the equipment was delivered, set up and collected without problems. It all looked great. Would definietly us them again in the future and recommend everyone else does to!

Everything about wedding venue lighting was amazing. The customer service was 100% as was everything else, I am already trying to persuade my new husband to do it all over again so I can order even more things from Wedding Venue Lighting. Everything looked brilliant and absolutely everyone at the venue commented on how easy they were to work with and how gorgeous the whole venue looked once they had finished! I can't thank the team enough, I would recommend to anyone.

They gave us peace of mind for our wedding day and nothing at all was any trouble for them. Communication was fantastic and the lighting that they provided us on our wedding day was unbelievable. Everybody loved it and said how pretty it looked including ourselves. We are so grateful to them. Highly recommended!

Lighting transformed the reception of the hall into the perfect room for the nights entertainment. The mood lighting outside the hall, made the night time photographs amazing. They were able to transform the whole ambience of the venue whilst we were enjoying our wedding breakfast

Supplied the fairy lights for our wedding at Sandburn Hall. Lights looked spectacular and got loads of comments from our guests. Installation & removal was practically invisible - no interaction needed, which was exactly what we wanted when dashing round getting ready.

Really good experience. Floor and lighting were set up as arranged and we even got a slightly bigger floor than we had ordered as there was enough space at the venue. Again, floor and lighting were dismantled and collected as arranged. Would definitely recommend.

We were so pleased with the fairy lights that wedding venue lighting set up for our wedding, they really did add a certain magic to our celebrations. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing customer service from start to finish. So responsive and accommodating to customers requirements! Hired out the “large numbers” on several occasions, for my sons birthdays. Had loads of great comments on them.
Also just to add I’ve been to weddings where they have had the photo booths! All guests LOVED them, so much fun! It’s 5 stars from me 🫶🏼

Matt was fantastic. They came early and spent hours putting drapes around our reception room to turn it from a golf club into a beautiful wedding room. They even came back before our evening reception to take down a curtain to make it bigger for our evening do

They delivered great service and communication was excellent from start to finish even emailing me on the week of my wedding to let me know when they would be setting up.
