We recently hired a dance floor (white, no lights) for the reception of our barn wedding and it was excellent. The dance floor looked great and I was really impressed with the size options available when booking. I also found the price to be very competitive in comparison to a few others I had priced up. The team at Wedding Venue Lighting were great, very professional, excellent service - they were so good I didn't even see them set up the dance floor during room turnaround! Highly Recommend for Wedding Lighting/Accessories Wedding Venue Lighting supplied the fairy lights - both on the beams and outside on the balcony, which looked amazing by day and night - cream postbox and rustic initial letters at our wedding at Sandburn Hall in July. Communication in the lead up to our wedding was excellent and the team accommodated our request to postpone by one year, due to Covid-19 restrictions, at no extra cost which was highly appreciated. We used this company for our wedding lighting to put fairy lights around the room and it really made all the difference! They were so accommodating and came bright and early as requested the day before the wedding, yet only charged for a single days use- which is amazing when some companies up the prices for weddings. They also let us attach some greenery to the white pole covers which was really good of them too! Thankyou for making our venue looks so good!

I can’t recommend wedding venue lighting enough! � we hired the blush pink starlight backdrop with the happily ever after sign, the starlight dance floor and backdrop and up lighting and wow our venue just looked absolutely amazing! Matt and his team are the most professional company I have dealt with while organising my wedding. His suggestions and advice were spot on! The dance floor and backdrop plus the up lighters in my venue made the room look beyond amazing, every guest said it was the best wedding they have been to and the dance floor was full all night. Matt even came to collect it at 2 am in the morning so the venue could be ready for 8am the next day to start setting up for lunch.

We had the wedding venue lighting add some festoon lights into our venue which were absolutely perfect for our special day. We requested some outside festoons but the venue had already installed these so wedding venue lighting refunded us the amount quickly and without question. We cannot thank them enough for their work and the lighting did really make our day that more special.

Fairy lights for Sandburn Hall wedding Thanks to Wedding Venue Lighting for providing the lighting for our wedding at Sandburn Hall. The lights looked absolutely beautiful - in particular, we had so many comments from guests about the fairy lights on the beams. The team were completely invisible on the day, with the lights just appearing - which is exactly what we were looking for! They were also very flexible with helping us rearrange multiple times from our original date during the first Covid lockdown, all the way to our eventual date in September 2022.

Matt and the team were extremely helpful, having approached him with my vision rather than asking for exacts he took what I was asking for and created exactly what I was hoping for on the day. We had the illuminated letters (T&N) as well as coloured up-lighters for the room, he was keen to ensure the effect was his priority and not just me spending as much money as possible with them, so much so that he requested a lower number of up-lighters due to room size etc. It was perfect

Where to start! I cannot recommend wedding venue lighting enough for creating such amazing decor and for our photobooth! The C&G lights became an amazing backdrop for pictures after a day of rain, and the fairy lights created the most beautiful and cosy space! The photobooth was busy all night and we have so many amazing pictures that the guests loved. We also love looking through the guestbook that the team on the night took care of making sure we had copies of all our guests photos, aswell as an online album of gifs and snaps! If there are any future brides and grooms out there looking for those beautiful touches, don’t hesitate in booking, you won’t regret it!

We hired Wedding Venue Lighting to provide festoon lighting and a festoon light backdrop at our wedding and they were a pleasure to work with. Matt arrived the day before the wedding to put up the lights and did so with minimum fuss and extreme professionalism. Matt and his team were very professional from start to finish, from the first phone call, e-mail, meeting us to discuss our requirements, even adjusted things to our taste to actually suggest us to delete a few products which saved us some pennies for our honeymoon. Not a lot of businesses want to do that! Our room was absolutely stunning, all our guests were amazed on how good our room looked even the Banqueting team at the hotel were speechless as were our toastmaster (he had seen the room before!) which was funny to witness! It was stunning, things were changed after our wedding breakfast and this was done discreetly and professionally, cannot thank the team enough, they did a marvellous job and I have the memories and photos to prove what an excellent day we both had :-) Winners, thanks guys!!

100% recommend! We used Wedding Venue Lighting for our wedding to hire the 3ft white Mr & Mrs letters. It was great for us as the company was local to where we live and our venue however, from contacting the company to having the letters installed was seamless. Contact with the team was easy and they were polite and friendly. The company worked directly with my venue so I didn’t have to worry about any of that. Hire of the product was for the day so we definitely got our monies worth! The letters looked great through the day in our venue room and they looked brilliant at night lit up. After attending a few wedding fairs we came across Wedding Venue Lighting. After a brief discussion and demo we contacted Kelly and Matt for a quote. They were brilliant, very quick to respond, always helpful and had plenty of options and solutions for whatever it is you'd like to do. On the day they arrived early and got setup straight away. Our guests loved the Photo Booth and the telephone box guestbook was very popular. We got the messages a couple of days later and it was so nice to listen to the lovely (and some very drunk) messages people had left for us.

Wedding Venue Lighting set up a fairy light wall curtain behind the top table of our wedding at Crayke Manor in the covered stables. It looked superb and we received lots of compliments from many of our guests. Throughout the process the company were very easy to correspond with via email and phone. They were very understanding and flexible with our multiple covid date changes. The technician set up the day before and was very prompt, thorough and quick giving a clear explanation of how to work the curtain. He returned the day after to remove it and was equally professional. The whole experience was very easy, highly recommend

The best part of the lighting was the dance floor. We were given the choice of black or white and we chose black which made the floor stand out more. The string lighting outside was perfect, although with it being a winter wedding, not many people went outside, only the smokers, and there weren't many!

We had ceiling fairy lights and the photo beauty mirror and on the day the 2 ladies operating the machine were so friendly and helpful and were brilliant with all the children we had at our wedding. The props and wedding guest book were amazing and the very next day they even uploaded all our photos to an online portal for us to digitally download.

Matt was very helpful in changing our order when needed and had some useful suggestions for us. The finished product was beyond our expectations and really wowed our guests. They ended up creating a canopy of lanterns over the alter which really enhanced the look of the venue and made the ceremony area stand out. We hired the 14 x 14 black twinkle… We hired the 14 x 14 black twinkle dance floor for our wedding. It exceeded our expectations and looked amazing! Our guests all commented on how good it looked. We hired fairy curtains and uplighters for our wedding. It was not until seeing the dance floor area before and after that we realised what a special finishing touch the lighthing gave. We were really pleased with the service - WVL set up on the Friday and liaised directly with the venue - we didn't even know they were there which is the way it should be on your wedding day. Would not hesitate to recommend WVL.

Dance flooring Really good experience. Floor and lighting were set up as arranged and we even got a slightly bigger floor than we had ordered as there was enough space at the venue. Again, floor and lighting were dismantled and collected as arranged. Would definitely recommend.

We used wedding venue lighting for our lights at our wedding, at sandburn hall. We had fairy lights all round the wooden beams and up the stairs, and wooden light up letters spelling mr&mrs bennnett. The venue looked beautiful with these lights, very happy. Easy to book and great communication from the company. So helpful, accomodating & great products My daughter found this compnay whilst looking for a dancefloor for our wedding venue with no dancefloor! The price was good adn the dancefloor was good quality. They were brilliant at arranging with the venue time for fitting and dismantling, without us having to be there. I also booked at very short notice, and they were able to sort everythng out. A few days before the wedding we added a light curtain too and this just topped it off - it was stunning. Highly recommend this company - support small businesses when you can - they go the extra mile.

Definitely recommend to anyone wanting something that little bit extra that doesn’t break the bank. Our wedding took place on Valentines Day and we had the letters M&M which set off the reception room which became the dance floor perfectly. All our guests were commenting on them. I can't praise this company enough! We were very last minute and only contacted them 5 weeks before the big day. Matt went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed (despite the lead time). I contacted them 2 days before for a Selfie Mirror and, again, they were brilliant! From the moment we spoke to Wedding Venue Lighting at Sandburn Hall, they were so welcoming, and took time to let us know and show us the products they had to offer. Didn't have to worry about a thing! Didn't have to worry about a thing!! Had an amazing g photo booth, back drop, and audio book! Definitely recommend. We got a photo guest book with the photo booth which was a really nice touch! We had so many prints!! All the photos taken and the audio book were posted to us on a personalised USB stick and was recieved a week after the wedding. Brilliant company.

Our wedding venue, Sandburn Hall, is a stunning building. Wedding Venue Lighting provided the most beautiful decorations to enhance every feature of the room. The fairy lights were positioned to give a delicate sparkle during the day & then an unexpectedly magical effect in the evening. The lanterns were hung expertly in our chosen colours and WVL also hung the bunting I had made myself. They were helpful & courteous at all times & provided a professional service throughout. we knew we wanted fairy lights as it sets off the already beautiful room so well the lanterns finished off the look and wedding venue lighting were so helpful and quick at booking it all for us, they were confident with the venue and everything was put up and taken away without us even knowing. all our paperwork was posted to us which was great and if I had any questions they responded straight away, thank you for our perfect day everyone loved the decorations!!!

We got married at Sandburn Hall and Wedding Venue lighting supplied the fairy lights for the main stairway, around the wooden beams along with the coloured lanterns in the Grand Hall were we got married and had our reception and the outside balcony and it all looked absolutely amazing 😁 Thank you so much to the team for adding these finishing touches to our wedding it felt and looked so special 😊

Loved these Mr & Mrs letters, they finished the look perfectly! The process of booking in for the product and paying etc was super easy and the staff were great, polite and friendly. My daughter found this compnay whilst looking for a dancefloor for our wedding venue with no dancefloor! The price was good adn the dancefloor was good quality. They were brilliant at arranging with the venue time for fitting and dismantling, without us having to be there. I also booked at very short notice, and they were able to sort everythng out. A few days before the wedding we added a light curtain too and this just topped it off - it was stunning. Highly recommend this company - support small businesses when you can - they go the extra mile.

I had literally nothing to do with it… I had literally nothing to do with it other than paying for them which was fantastic, absolutely no problems whatsoever, amazing quality and lit up our wedding so so beautifully, I'd add photos but not got them back yet, so impressed and beyond satisfied, would use again!

Just wanted to thank Matt and the Team for providing us with a great service, I absolutely loved our starlit dancefloor and the image projection with our names on the dancefloor made it so special and personalised for us. The dancefloor definitely saw a lot of action and that is all I wanted so thank you very much!!xx

Absolutely outstanding service from Matt at Wedding Venue Lighting. Overcame obstacles on site, to achieve our vision. Very prompt delivery and installation service and was happy to work around other suppliers also dressing the venue. On time the next day to take down the lighting. Matt was recommended by a friend who also used his lighting and I would highly recommend him to anyone dressing their own venue. The quality and colour of light was perfect.

I just wanted to say thank you very much for kitting our wedding out with the I Do 6ft Letters. After hiring the letters we also saw you offered the selfie mirror. I had seen this on a few sites but nothing compared to the prices you were offering for both items, we decided to hire both and this still came in at a better price than other companies we looked at. Everyone at our wedding loved the selfie mirror, the team were great and I can't recommend you enough. Thank you Hayley & Jason x

Perfect Quick and easy communication. Website shows my wedding venue with all various lighting and decoration options that the company can create with honest pricing shown. We got married at Sandburn Hall in York and chose to have the fairy lights around the beams, a curtain of fairy lights at the back, a secure post box with key, and festoon lighting for the balcony outside. All was set up well before the time for our guests arriving at 11.00am. They are a recommended supplier of Sandburn Hall, and the room wouldn’t have been complete without their detailing.

Wedding Venue Lighting were seamless… Wedding Venue Lighting were seamless from start to finish. They provided an amazing service with fairy lights around the beams and outside areas of our venue, as well as light up Mr & Mrs (w/surname) letters. All amazing, we would certainly recommend! Mirror Photo Booth & Fairy Lights. We used wedding venue lighting for our wedding. We have fairy lights on the ceiling and the Photo Booth mirror. The 2 staff members operating the machine were absolutely brilliant and very friendly. Would definitely recommend. The props they brought too had such a good selection.

We booked our wedding venue decor/lighting from Wedding Venue Lighting & it was so perfect. They have lots of options to choose from at reasonable prices. Communication was simple & easy. The booking process was flawless. We were blown away by how amazing all the lighting looked in our venue & we're so glad we chose them. So pleased with the service provided by wedding venue lighting. From the pink blossom trees which looked amazing to all the lighting we had the venue Sandburn Hall looked outstanding. The company were very responsive with any questions I had and were very professional. I would definitely recommend this company for all venue lighting anyone may need

Oakwell Hall 4/6/22 We used Matt & the team for our wedding in June we had the fairy lights and fairy light backdrop it changed the whole look of the venue to the next level and added that extra wow factor. Communication was very easy and straightforward and no stress whatsoever and all at a very reasonable price too! I will 100% recommend this company.

Excellent service. Polite, professional and efficient both via email and in person. They were so good that we barely noticed them arrive or return to pick up the items at the end of the night. Perfect backdrop for our wedding - transformed a dull and expressionless room into a magical wedding venue full of heart and warmth. We hired uplighters for our venue as well as the starlit backdrop. Both looked amazing and everyone commented on them. The whole process was so easy with Wedding Venue Lighting, they helped me figure out exactly what I wanted and then sorted out everything for me.

They did check and confirm things which was good and the room looked amazing once set up and everything was in the right place. We got married at Sandburn Hall & the lights were set up before we even saw the room & they looked perfect! We had them off & tied back during the day & switched on & down on the night & the brought the room to life. The pictures from our evening reception look amazing thanks to the lights.
